Figure 8: Paleofacies of the Early Jurassic. This time period spanned the deposition of the Mus, Marrat, Qamchuqa, and Nirim formations, and their regional equivalents [MFS J10 to intra-J20; the late Toarcian unconformity marks the base of AP7 at 182 Ma].
