Low-sloping broad fluvial distributary plain feeds line-source, wave-modified strand-plain shoreline systems. These systems in turn feed line-sourced slope and fan deposits. Rising shale diapirs at the toe of the slope helped focus slope and basin floor deposition and ponded thick sediments on the basin floor in toe-of-slope sediment sinks.
