A. Light gray, firm organic clay in lower part of Unit 3, boring 7-X.; 

B. Medium to coarse sand of Unit 2, boring 7-X.; 

C. Coarse sand with minor clay lenses near base of Unit 2, boring 7-X.; 

D. Very hard, slightly oxidized, homogeneous green Pleistocene clay underlying Unit 1, boring 7-X.;

E. Sand lens in very stiff green Pleistocene clay, boring 7-X.; 

F. Thinly bedded, reddish brown, very hard Pleistocene clay and silt, boring 1-S. Typical of Red River deposits forming Pleistocene beds along Line A-A' to elevation of -100 ft.; 

G. Brownish gray, thinly bedded Pleistocene silt and clay just above the contact between the Red River clay and the underlying homogeneous green Pleistocene clay, boring 1-S.; 

H. Green-gray, very stiff, homogeneous Pleistocene clay, boring 1-S. This clay occurs below Red River clay and silt shown in F and G.
