TATUI Laboratory Information Management System -- An Internet Solution for Laboratory Automation

TATUÍ Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is an internet enabled laboratory automation database system. It handles samples from receiving, preparation, separation, analysis, quality control, and reporting all in an integrated environment which can also be managed and audited through a secured internet connection. The system' uses cutting edge technologies to transfer, verify and load analytical data into the central database server and allow users to analyze and QC the data online through a user friendly interface. The system also can be linked to a Geo Information Management System (GIMS) to display the results graphically on a map for real-time monitoring critical environmental parameters. This system also contains a dynamic report generator build into the system to generate anything from tabular report to full analytical report with chromatograms, plots and interpretation. Recent deployment of TATUÍ LIMS in a company with laboratories located in multiple cities successfully demonstrated using one single database system to integrate multiple data source and provide clients with online real-time data retrieval.
