Compiler’s & Editorial Note: With increasing interest in petroleum resources in the Arctic region, it is thought that a compilation of a list of various publications describing petroleum exploration and/or activities would be of interest to a number of visitors to this site. The entries are restricted to articles in English, and they are presented only as representative of the literature on the Arctic region. The references given below are: AAPG publications (Bulletin, special publications, meetings abstracts (from the Bulletin 2000-2004 and from Search and Discovery 2005-2007), and Explorer (1984-2007), Bulletin of Canadian Petroleum Geology, Journal of Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Geology (1991-2005), Marine and Petroleum Geology (1995-2007) and other publications (1997-2007).
