Abstract

Good knowledge of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit rock types is essential to understand fluid flow behavior and saturation distribution for the establishment of representative static and dynamic Previous HitreservoirNext Hit models.

Previous HitReservoirNext Hit rock types (RRT) can be assigned utilizing combined petrophysical rock properties and core descriptions. However in complex carbonate, the task may not be straight forward due to the high degree of heterogeneity where rock properties tend to have significant variations across the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit. These rock property variations necessitate the acquisition of proper understanding of geological heterogeneities and their impact on the Previous HitreservoirTop models.
