History of One Hundred Years of Huge Oil Discoveries in Iraq

Abstract

Since late 19th century, the exploration activities started in north part of Iraq and Mosel areas by several European geological teams mainly British geologists. In the same time, these activities in Iraq were associated by focusing on foreign intervention and attempts by Western powers to control oil and other resources in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East.
